Some kind messages from current and previous patients.

"My therapy sessions with Dr. Helen have really helped me in multiple ways. For one, I have found the strategies and life-coping tips offered by Dr. Helen to be very useful in my everyday life. I have implemented these small tactics in both work and entrepreneurial environments, and they have worked wonders! Secondly, I truly admire how professional Dr. Helen is. I never felt awkward or uncomfortable sitting with her talking about my personal life. She is easy to talk to and a great listener. I would also like to commend Dr. Helen on genuinely caring for her patients / clients. When I went missing for 2 weeks, Dr. Helen called /emailed from her office to check up on me, and to schedule an appointment.
Finally, she's flexible with appointments and would do her best to fit you in - if you can't make it, then you can schedule a call. I told Dr. Helen last week that I would love to see her forever!"

"I look forward to Fridays because I get an hour with Dr Helen. She has helped me manage my anxiety through breathing and mindfulness techniques. Talking with her makes me understand myself better. My mind feels like a tangled ball of yarn and Dr Helen helps me untangle it. I am learning to observe my thoughts without judgement and to rephrase the negative ones. I am now kinder to myself, more in the moment, and able to tackle life - thanks to Dr. Helen!"

"Therapy with Dr Helen has been really really helpful for me. She has provided me with invaluable support, insight, and guidance through some really tough stuff that I don't think I could've fully comprehended by myself. It's opened my eyes to new understandings of things about myself as well as others around me. To be honest, therapy has given me a reason to go on because I keep telling myself I'm learning to get better and that's a good enough reason to hang on. And things have been up and down. There were times I felt so good and they wouldn't have happened if not for therapy. And there have been times so bad that I think I wouldn't be alive today if I wasn't in therapy."

I grew up as an observer and a thinker, and was always interested in understanding and helping people. I was inspired to be a Clinical Psychologist whilst reading an Oliver Sacks books during my first year at university studying psychology and philosophy. I loved the way that he talked about people with such compassion, something which I try to do in my own practice. I qualified in 2008, and have worked in both the UK and UAE since then.
